About Imperial Spice

Indo-Pak Grocery store serving fresh produce, meats, spices, and more. This is a brand new location in a state of the art building. Come on by to see why Imperial Spice is a standard of its own!

Imperial Spice is one of the asian grocery stores listed in Sugar Land, Texas. The business is registered at 11941 S Texas 6, Sugar Land, TX 77498; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Sugar Land with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in Texas may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. The listed phone number is (281) 957-4200. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Its Google rating is 3.8 out of 5 from 118 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Sugar Land is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Sugar Land is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Good people with excellent meat prices and fresh cuts every time. Love them . And I really am very surprised that more people do not shop there. Their meat quality is so much better and the prices are an additional bonus among other things.

On March 16 I bought a packet of goat meat. When I opened it as soon as I arrived home. It smells like it was kept out side fridge for longer time. This has happened 2nd time with me. It was more surprising, when I went there to return. The owner's attitude was unbelievable. Instead of apologizing. He was so rude and has no courtesy for customers. Someone has already complained against IS to City for selling of expired items.

I only needed basmati for thanksgiving week as I was out of rice. They had that, a recent enough crop, and at competitive prices. I would not trust them for much more than their dry spice and rice. I don't think they have enough customers to quickly enough turn inventory. They bit off more than they could chew. They stocked no fresh veggies when I went in. If they cannot be a one stop shop, they will fail when competitors offer so much value, if they cannot turn over their fresh ingredients they will fail. I think they owe their freezer installer a lawsuit based on the condensation patterns through the paint. That's putting it nicely. I had high hopes for them and feel sorry for the hole I think they might be in business-wise. Other google reviews seem... ... inflating of the situation. I've seen enough Kitchen Nightmares to know if they're lying to themselves they're compounding the problem. I don't normally review lowly, but I want to see them succeed.

The day has come that I am able to leave a 5 star review for a desi store. Very clean well organized and the availability of products and prices are just wow. This will Be my new store. I hope the customer service is good as well If I ever have to deal with them but over all so far very happy. The fact that they had the whole lineup of doughstory by dawn just made my day. Its so hard to find those parathas.

I've been regularly visiting Houston. I've visited a lot of Desi Groceries, but this is one of the finest, very well maintained and neat and clean store. Their staff is very friendly and cooperative. This place is going great under the management of Mack. Please keep it up.
